I soooooooooooooooooo wanna go for UNSW Asia.. but.. i dunno if my parents' financial capabilities can support this.. well.. take a bank loan?? yes.. possible.. but.. 78k? is it worth studying that.. then spend the next 10 years repaying the loan??

I am already lucky i didnt have to take a loan for my poly education.. unlike other, not so well-of students in the school..

yes.. if u get a good job.. with a high pay.. repaying a loan is not a problem.. but.. if u dun even have a job.. tht's a major problem..

Well, if i really decide wad ever the cost, getting a good and well recognised degree is worth it, there's still the problem of actually getting into the degree of ur choice.. demand is gonna be way high.. esp for commerce degrees.. and UNSW's good standing.. kids frm all over asia will flock here.. haizz.. saddening.. depressing haha..

Guoyi's applying for it... tht's a plus.. haha.. angie goh too.. but she didnt even know the cost haha.. when i told her.. her jaw dropped haha.. damn funny.. she went berzerk..

78k for 3 yrs.. + 1 yr honours = 104k.. wonderful isnt it..? haha..

Recent Happenings!!

• Steam boat with guys on sat at guoyi's house.. didnt want to go (steamboat is disgusting) .. but they promised other things for me to eat.. like "KFC or Mac's" .. but they didn't.. nice one....... had dinner at like 1am or something...



• Starhub world cup project job.. turned out it was data entry.. i didnt know it was.. wonderful.. went there without a clue wad u interview for.. went through a type speed test.. Speed: 30 words/min, Errors: 2 words in a 1 minute test.. Came home and downloaded a typing test program.. on my keyboard.. the max was 42 words/min 1 error in a 2 minute test.. that was consistency for u la.. damn... i wasnt familiar with their keyboard.. tht's my excuse.. dun think i'll get selected.. damn.. no job haha..



• New nickname: Sleek.. haha.. or is it.. Slick... hmmms.. either one la.. haha.. Guoyi is Speed Tay, Andrew is Sky Young.. or should he be Die... den it'll be like.. Die Young haha.. damn.. or i can be 'Nizzo' also.. cuz den, u can 'Shizzo-mah-Nizzo'. haha..



• The long awaited Enlistment's on 26th October 2006... 5 months more? haha.. swee! i get to watch the world cup some more haha.. BMTC School 2.. 12.30pm.. even the time's good too haha.. ;)

Dear Yao Sheng,

The estimated cost for studying the Commerce program in 2007 is at SGP$546 per Unit of Credit. A course is normally worth 6 units of credit, so you are looking at SGP$3276 per course.

In one year, a full-time student is expected to undertake a minimum of 8 courses (4 per semester) i.e. 48UOC per year, which brings the cost to approx SGP$26,208 in tuition fees. (Please note that the fee quoted assumes that the student undertakes all courses in the Commerce stream. The fee will change if students choose to undertake some courses in another stream for the electives)

As144UOC is required to obtain an award and allowing for the tuition cost to increase in subsequent years, the cost of the whole Commerce program is approximately SGP$78,624(SGP$546 X 144UOC) PLESE NOTE: The fee quoted is an estimated tuition cost based on the 2007 fee structure.
